Posted by: Hyltz'. - 15-02-2011, 12:45 PM - Forum: Man Utd News - Replies (7)

The rumours are resurfacing again as the Manchester United Bonds continue to rise.
The 'talk' is all about a planned takeover of the club by the representatives of the Qatari royal family. (I have written about it before.)

I believe there is someway to go and a lot to be sorted, before anything would be considered anywhere near to being settled.

Thumbs Down Darren Fletcher: We Can Play Much Better
Posted by: ManUtdPeople - 10-02-2011, 01:30 PM - Forum: Man Utd News - No Replies

Darren Fletcher says Man Utd must produce the team’s best form of the season to clinch the Premier League crown as the title race turns into a sprint for the finish line.

Darren Fletcher Wrote:We feel we have played well at times. But we expect more – we expect more of ourselves all the time – there’s no ceiling on performance levels here.

Darren Fletcher Wrote:There are a lot of tough games to come and there’s a long way to go to win the league. We definitely feel as though we can play better and hopefully our form improves towards the end of the season, which is when it really matters in the league and the Champions League. This is when the big games come, the matches that ultimately win you trophies.

Darren Fletcher Wrote:We’ve got to go to Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal and we play Manchester City this weekend. There are a lot of big matches ahead. But we enjoy big games here and this club is all about performing and rising to those challenges.

  Reina a United Possibility ?
Posted by: Hyltz'. - 08-02-2011, 04:36 PM - Forum: Transfer Talk - No Replies

Sky Sport are reporting that Pepe Reina has refused to rule out the possibility of a move to Old Trafford, if he were tempted.
The highly respected Liverpool 'Keeper' is quoted as having said as much during an interview with Spanish Radio.

As he considers his future, Reina went on to speak of his ambition to be contesting for European Championship Honours. How he may be forced to follow the example set by ex-team mate Fernando Torres and look at opportunities elsewhere, if Liverpool do not qualify again this year.
