Smile Hello from AUS
Posted by: jbbmeh - 04-02-2011, 02:49 PM - Forum: Newbies - Replies (1)

Hi guys,

another Newbie here Smile

To tell you all a bit about myself, I'm a United fan from Adelaide South of Australia! Loved the Red Devils since I was a short lad. Actually wearing a United top right now Wink

I don't have a favorite player, cuz I love em all the same!! I used to favor Tevez, but since he left for the Berties, I'm starting to enjoy watching the Lil Pea Hernandez.

Sorry if this is in another thread, but I could not find it after a small search... Is there a link to test the quality and bandwidth of the stream based on my location and DSL connection? I really want to become a Gold member cause I have an account for EPL live - but it does not show all United matches. Also the site I used to frequent has been banned for infringements and I dont have Foxtel (Cable TV for all you other lot Tongue). Need my weekly dose.

Thanks for having me.

  Transfer Talk ????!!!!!!

I think you better rename this section!!!!
It's not of interest to Manchester United!!

Well , Liverpool are on the verge of selling torres to Chelsea and also buying Carrol and Adam - and Chelsea buying Torres, and United don't buy anyone!!!!!

Our Manager is happy with the team he has!! Did you see the fringe players we have at United - the ones who played against S'Hampton!!??
Worthless bunch, except for 2 or 3 !!!

Lindegaard was bought to be the number 2 of another goalie, after Kucsak will leave in summer.

Evans and Smalling cannot play together and it's been proved in the West Ham game we lost and also against S'hampton - they need one of Vidic or Ferdinand to play one of them - but not the 2 together.

Gibson is so slow!
Anderson did not put in a single good pass!
Obertan did only 1 thing - the pass from which Owen scored!

Owrn and Hernandez were our best players, but they need good distribution , which came when Giggs and Nani were put in!

And our Manager keeps saying he is happy with his squad!!!
Good thing that Berbatov is on fire!!

We have become the paupers of english football!!!!
There is no cash to buy players, whatever Fergie says!!

the stupidest thing this season was buying Bebe without even seeing him and rejecting Van Der Vaart when he wanted to join us at the same price and at the same time!!!!!!!!!!

DAFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Torres for Chelsea
Posted by: rooneyisared - 31-01-2011, 05:30 PM - Forum: Other Football - No Replies

Quote:Kenny Dalglish refused to explain whether striker Fernando Torres would leave the club before the transfer window closes on Monday night.

The Reds rejected a £35m bid from Chelsea after a transfer request by the Spaniard was turned down on Friday.

"We've not brought anyone as a replacement for anyone else," Reds boss Dalglish revealed on Monday.

Meanwhile, BBC Sport understands that Liverpool have had a £30m bid rejected for Newcastle striker Andy Carroll.

The future of Torres remained uncertain with the transfer deadline ending at 2300 GMT on Monday, with BBC sports news correspondent Dan Roan reporting over the weekend that Liverpool would be willing to offload the 26-year-old for £50m to Chelsea.

An Anfield source also stated that the club could be open to a deal of £40m in cash plus Blues forward Nicolas Anelka.

My friend who supports Liverpool actually thinks this is a good deal, I say selling your best player and bringing in a experienced replacement for an vastly over-inflated price is crazy.

  Liverpool want Carrol for £35MILLION!!

Quote:Newcastle striker Andy Carroll is keen on a proposed move to Liverpool, BBC Sport understands.

Liverpool have made a second bid for the 22-year-old after their initial £30m offer was rejected by the Magpies.

Carroll has scored 11 goals in 19 league games this season and made his full England debut in November's 2-1 defeat by France at Wembley.

Liverpool have agreed a £23m fee for Ajax striker Luis Suarez but could be set to sell Fernando Torres to Chelsea.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew was due to hold his pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's Premier League trip to Fulham at the club's training headquarters at 1400 GMT.

However, it was initially put back to 1530 GMT at St James' Park before being cancelled.

Academy graduate Carroll played a key role in the Magpies' promotion from the Championship last season and has continued to shine since being handed the number nine shirt during the summer.

I think he is a good player but £35million+ that is a massive waste of money!!!
