Look at this crap I have just read on the Sunday Mirror Website
United have failed in a sensational bid to prise Stephen Ireland away from arch rivals Manchester City.
Sir Alex Ferguson hoped that the 23-year-old Irishman could be tempted away from Eastlands because Mark Hughes has an embarrassment of midfield riches with Gareth Barry, Nigel de Jong and Vincent Kompany in his squad.
But United were told that there was no chance of City selling Ireland – their current player of the year – at any price.
Ireland, who has just signed a five-year deal at City, said: “I want to be part of what happens at City because I think we’re going to achieve great things.
Talking about bad press day??

Carrick's one against Burnley to avoid the embarresing defeat or Rooney's one against Arsenal to win against our title rvals and ed their winning streak?
I like it the wa it is, with Rooney scoring, because we got mone more point from the 2 games than if we would have if Carrick scored, and Rooney didn't. And for some reason, for me, it is better to lose to Burnley than to draw with Arsenal at home, cuz we can say it's a blip.
