Is Nani a Manchester United Player?
Posted by: red3636 - 25-04-2009, 06:50 PM - Forum: The Lounge - Replies (83)

What a difference when Nani was taken off against Spurs!Too many wasteful flicks and bad corners?Greedy, selfish and goes down far too easy?In his 3rd season at the club so has had more than ample time to settle in to the club and the english Premier League and we have had a couple of good goals but is he worth the 16million we payed for him?I think not.Get rid in the Summer!.

  Happy 600th Scholesy
Posted by: chazza - 24-04-2009, 03:20 PM - Forum: Man Utd News - Replies (1)

Paul Scholes broke the 600 appearances barrier when he lined up against Portsmouth at Old Trafford this week. It is unlikely he will surpass Ryan Giggs, or even Bobby Charltons appearance figures, but it is still a tremendous acheivement.
Scholesy is a true legend, he's never one to take the glory if he scores a winning goal, he just gets on with it everyday and is the model proffesional for any youngster coming into the game. Hopefully when Giggsy, Scholesy and Neville reitre, they will stay on as coaches as they can teach youngster what it means to play for this club.

Scholesy can also crack in some corkers, here are my two favourite Scholes moments:

It shows true skill to play on as Scholes suffered/has suffered from Blurred vision.

So what are your favourite Scholes moments and what do you think of Paul?

Pound a match increase plus the VAT decrease we never got back. A lot of fans are going to struggle with this especially after the F****** Budget.

  Double Injury Blow
Posted by: WatchMUFC - 23-04-2009, 08:04 PM - Forum: Man Utd News - Replies (1)

Alex Ferguson says Gary Neville and John O'Shea will miss the "next few weeks" after picking up injuries on Wednesday.

Neville and O'Shea limped off during the 2-0 win over Portsmouth that sent United three points clear of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.

Ferguson said: "They are both looking at being out for weeks, because of two pretty bad tackles on them.

"We've had a bad time at right-back but Wes Brown is coming back."
