  United Squad Numbers
Posted by: Noucamp99 - 14-08-2014, 06:38 AM - Forum: Man Utd News - Replies (5)

Quote:Manchester United have announced the club's shirt numbers for the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League season.

Summer signing Luke Shaw will wear the no.3 jersey while fellow new recruit Ander Herrera will wear 21.

Adnan Januzaj has also adopted the no.11 shirt that Ryan Giggs famously made his own during his illustrious Reds career.

Anderson has been given the no.28 shirt, Nick Powell has taken no.22 and James Wilson has changed from no.47 to no.49.

And, interestingly, despite some reports yesterday saying that Lindegaard has been released, he still holds the number 13 jersey.

Shirt numbers for the 2014/15 season:
1. De Gea; 2. Rafael; 3. Shaw; 4. Jones; 6. Evans; 8. Mata; 10. Rooney; 11. Januzaj; 12. Smalling; 13. Lindegaard; 14. Chicharito; 16. Carrick; 17. Nani; 18. Young; 19. Welbeck; 20. van Persie; 21. Herrera; 22. Powell; 23. Cleverley; 24. Fletcher; 25. Valencia; 26. Kagawa; 28. Anderson; 29. Zaha; 30. Varela; 31. Fellaini; 34. Lawrence; 35. Lingard; 36. Vermijl; 38. M Keane; 39. Thorpe; 40.   Hello Everyone

Hello, my name is Kevin and I am 19 years old. I live in Florida, USA and have been a Manchester United supporter since I was 12. It has been difficult sometimes since the matches are not always on the TV, but thankfully you can watch the matches on the internet. I just recently went to the ManUnited vs. ASRoma match in Denver and went to ManUnited vs WestHam match where Wayne Rooney scored from half field. I have yet to go to Old Trafford, but hope to go to a match this coming Spring Break. My favorite player is Kagawa.

Hi, my name is Macarena and I'm from Mexico and I'm 20 yrs... almost 21
I totally love the ManUtd since I was child.
I started to listen the chants on tv once, and I was like "wow... is like the cielito lindo mom??" (cielito lindo is a song we sing when mexican team plays); and she told me that it was one of the chants of the ManUtd...
then I learned them fully when my parents, my bro and me went to England on vacations. Two guys in a restaurant teached me the anthem and gave me a scarf Smile and it was awsome.
But I'm the only football fan in my family haha
My fav players are: Rooney and Shaw.

haha sorry if is too long, kisses!

Just thought i'd see how many people go to games at Old Trafford. Its not s competition as other teams fans seem to think so and doesn't make you any less of a fan/glory hunter. Myself and my brother (site member:Macready) have memberships and try to go to 4-5 games a season. This is mainly due to costs and distance we travel.
