Anyone else been watching The Big Match Revisited on Sky ? Ive been addicted to it recently and even encourage my football playing son to watch and take note of the proper footballers playing a proper game . I am of an age where i remember these matches from the late seventies onwards , in fact the 1975 FA Cup Final was the first game i actually remember getting excited about . It really does show todays chumps up to be the prima dona they really are . Hard men in those days playing the beautiful game in the manner it should be played , big crowds huddled together singing and chanting and the only live matches were England games and the big FA Cup Final . Match of the day on a saturday night with Jimmy Hill and The Big Match on sunday afternoons with Brian Moore . Wow what a trip down nostalgia lane .
Football , isn't it ? young boys in cotton shorts ...................

On top of Sir Ryan's broken wrist, Ando's cruciate ligament, Owen's hamstring, Hargo's jumpers' knee, Rio's back, Wazza's knee, O'Shea's thigh strain and Jonny Evans' knee injuries, I have heard whispers that Wes Brown has broken his foot. What next?
I can't check the rumours at work, due to filters on our servers. Can anyone shed any light on this?
